History - We are a West Jefferson, NC-based commercial lending firm created and staffed by business and finance professionals. Our backgrounds and experiences form a varied spectrum, yet we all share a single drive to provide an alternative to traditional funding for projects and businesses.

We represent clients and their funding needs to our substantial and growing catalogue of investors. Once an investor decides to pursue a project, we work directly with them, providing the information needed to help bring a client’s project to fruition.

Our experience gave us a defining insight into what the lending industry lacked: a partner defined as much by honesty and integrity as expertise—a firm that consistently undersells yet over-delivers, and foregoes any and all upfront fees or costs for business plans. In that sense, Black Diamond is both a simplification of how things are done, and a giant step forward.
